Award Criteria

Let us help you acknowledge your Fleet Maintenance Manager's contribution, with the coveted Volvo Trucks Canada Canadian Fleet Maintenance Manager of the Year Award

CONDITIONS OF ELIGIBILITY

Your Fleet:

  • is located in Canada
  • includes at least 25 class 8 vehicles
  • has a minimum of 80% of repairs and maintenance done at your facilities.

Your Nominee:

  • is a Canadian resident
  • has a minimum of 5 years fleet maintenance experience - (3 as full-time maintenance manager, superintendent or director)
  • is involved in specification of new equipment.

JUDGING

Judging will be done by an independent committee of experienced industry professionals from major fleets and the trade press.

PRESENTATION

The Volvo Award will be presented at a grand gathering of industry representatives at the Thursday luncheon of the Canadian Fleet Maintenance Seminar, May 11th, 2010.

2009 Award WinnerOur 2009 and 20th winner of the Canadian Fleet Maintenance Manager Award this year was Ben Vandespyker of the Active Transport Group based in Milton Ontario. Ben has served in the industry for 50 years and has been an active member of the Toronto ATS for many years.
